Title: Assistant Manager

Location: Clondalkin Village

Contract: Full-time Permanent

Salary Scale: (Starting Salary €35,809 - €43,083)

The purpose of this role is to work provide care and support to the residents. This is a reception and office based position

Role Summary:

The Assistant Manager is to support the Centre Manager with overall management of the Centre, this includes:

1. Assisting with management of the staff, HR files, training, and staff resources

2. The management of the accommodation.

3. Reception duties

4. Managing the health and wellbeing of the residents,

5. Assisting the management of resources within the centre, ordering and invoices.

6. Health and Safety of the site

7. Working with resources to the centre, working with other agencies, businesses, and services within the local community to ensure that residents have access to the services that they need.

8. Meeting requirements of GDRP and the confidentiality and safety of all documentation

9. Support Manager Liaise and facilitate inspections by HIQA or departments nominated agents.

10. Assist in the implementation of the national standards and ongoing continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Ideally having equal to or higher than, QQI Level 7 or above in Management, Social care, Psychology, Education, Health Care, or equivalent. Level of experience for salary in line with CORU, further training will be provided where needed.

Experience:

It is essential for the Assist Manager to have 2 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or Receptionist DP centre, BOTP Centre, Homeless accommodation, Health, Social care, or Childcare setting or equivalent. It is desirable that at least 1 year of experience has been working with Diverse groups Understanding of Child Protection.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

All staff members will be require to be Garda Vetted Prior to taking up post.
