P/T Legal Bookkeeper

A medium sized firm in Dublin city centre is seeking to recruit a part time Legal Bookkeeper for immediate start to join their team.

Role and your responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of up-to-date books and records;
  • Processing day to day transactions;
  • Understanding and ensuring full compliance with Law Society Accounting Regulations;
  • Dealing with all bank payments;
  • Bank reconciliations;
  • Performing day and month end routines;
  • Revenue returns - managing VAT and PAYE/PRSI, Stamp Duty and IT38s.

Qualifications required:

  • Small practice experience;
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • Working knowledge of Lex;
  • Legal accounts experience preferred.
