This pay scale is subject to increases in 2024 in accordance with the recent WRC interim agreement (Ref CAM -100101-22 ) towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations Overview of the Post: To provide a quality, evidence based social work service to children and young people aged 0 – 18 years and their families within an interdisciplinary and family centred practice framework. The post holder will be required to support other staff and students as assigned Overview of Duties & Responsibilities: • Plans and organises activities and necessary resources efficiently and effectively. • To provide a range of Social Work services to children, young people and their families attending the service • Holds an appropriate and effective set of professional values and beliefs and behaves in line with professional standards as set down by Enable Ireland, the Children’s Disability Network Team partnership and relevant professional bodies • Collaborate with the child/young person while working in partnership with their parent/family/carer and all other relevant stakeholders to identify and achieve goals  • Forms strong positive working relationships across all areas of the service, builds on a common understanding.  • To work in collaboration with the other members of the interdisciplinary team in the planning and delivery of services for children and young people, in particular in the development of child and family centred service provision The successful candidate will have Essential Criteria: • Must be registered in the Social Work Register maintained by the Social Work Registration Board at CORU AND • Maintain live annual registration on the Social Workers Register maintained by the Social Workers Registration Board at CORU AND • Must have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office. AND • Must be eligible to work in the state • Valid driving licence for within the state / jurisdiction with access to own transfer in order to delivery services across a large geographical area Desirable Criteria: • Minimum of 1 year's post qualification experience.  • Experience of Interdisciplinary team working. • Some years' experience of working in the disability sector.  • Recent, relevant experience working with children and their families. • Experience working with children with disabilities.
