Life’s too short for the Wrong Job!

When you have a pain in your backside in a dead end job and you feel like your complaints and requests to do something more exciting with your life are falling on deaf ears. Maybe it’s time for you to take control of your own destiny and move on!

If it’s a new job you need, it’s never been such great time to JOB HOP! With unemployment rates down to their lowest in a long time and thousands of employers advertising jobs right across the county (Check out jobs here; https://www.jobalert.ie/ )

Going back to college can be a fantastic challenge and also a great opportunity to meet new people outside your current circle of friends – it might just be the change you need right now. If it’s a job change you need, make a list of companies that you’d like to work for. Sign up for jobalerts, so that you won’t miss the next perfect opportunity that comes up! Get your CV ready and have many different versions saved on your mobile device, so the minute you see that perfect job, you’ll be one of the first in line with your application.

Do you feel the urge to travel further afield? Brilliant, but before you hop on a cheap flight you will need to ask yourself a few questions;

How much money will you need?

You’ll need to research the cost of living in your chosen country. Best case scenario is to have at least 3 months’ rent and living expenses before you travel, unless you have a good friend or relation already living there, who may just let you 'couch surf' for a while until you find your feet. But even still you will need a safety net of cash in case that doesn’t work out – so save a few bob first!

Do you speak a second language?

If you don’t, you might want to stick to an English-speaking country or resort.

 We only have one life so don’t let anything hold you back. If you feel you’re lacking passion for life, not feeling any challenge in your daily activities of your job, relationship or life in general - take back control. Of course if you have big commitments or ties it’s going to be hard to make big changes all at once, but take small steps, set yourself achievable goals.

There’s a big World out there – go be amazing!!!

Happy Easter Everyone.
