GDPR Update for Jobseekers have made to our website to inform you on how we collect and manage your data. Our privacy policy has been reviewed and updated in line with the requirements that have been introduced under the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). How we control your personal data on our website

After you apply for a job on, your application will be stored in the employers account in the backend of our website. Rest assured, it will never be shared with another employer or recruiter.

All applications on our website are removed 24 months after the job you applied for has expired. It will then be completely deleted from our website after that time.

How we communicate with you using your personal data

Sending jobs by email

Once you sign up with, from time to time we will send you relevant jobs through email. This will either be through Job Alerts, which must be set up in your jobseekers dashboard where you select specific search criteria. Job Alerts can be turned off at any time through your account.

The other way is through the profile you have created on, we will send you jobs that we think you will be interested in based on your previous search history along with your location. All of our emails will include the option to opt out at any time if you wish to stop receiving job notifications via email.

Other emails & services

Once you are registered with, from time to time we will email you details about similar products and services that will help you in your job search. Examples could include CV assistance resources or upcoming job events. Once again you will have the option to opt out of these emails at any time.

Under GDPR: Your legal rights

As you are the owner of your own data, if you wish to remove your data, update or view your data, we are here to help facilitate that.

Under GDPR you can:
• Request access to your personal data
• Request correction of the personal data we hold about you
• Request the erasure of your personal data (known as Right To Be Forgotten)
• Object to a processing of your personal data
• Request restriction of processing your personal data
• Request the transfer of our personal data
• Withdraw consent

If you wish to delete your account please email with the subject heading “Remove my account”.

If you want to go one step further and use your Right To Be Forgotten which will permanently remove any trace of you and your data from our systems.
