Purpose of Role
The Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of Resilience Healthcare’s disability services through building relationships with community stakeholders, identifying new service opportunities, and promoting our person-centred approach in local communities. This role supports the Business Development Manager in delivering on strategic objectives and service expansion targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with Disability stakeholders, mainly HSE & Tusla commissioners, and other stakeholders such as schools and other disability organisations.
- Identify new service development opportunities in disability services, focused mainly on our centre based services, but also community services (day services, day respite etc)
- A strong focus on ensuring current services are maximised and reach full occupancy.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Manager on project scoping, feasibility assessments, and funding applications.
- Represent Resilience Healthcare at community events, forums, and partnership meetings to enhance visibility and credibility in the disability sector.
- Liaise closely with operational teams to ensure alignment between service development initiatives and front-line delivery.
- Work alongside marketing and communications colleagues to promote new services and initiatives.
- Conduct market research and service mapping to identify unmet needs within the community.
- Support the preparation of proposals, tender responses, and funding submissions in line with identified opportunities.
- Keep Customer Relationship Management(CRM) systems and project trackers up-to-date with engagement and development activity.
- Prepare regular reports for the Business Development Manager detailing progress, insights, and recommendations.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in business development, disability services, or related sectors.
- Proven track record in stakeholder engagement and service promotion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including public speaking and relationship building.
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
- Experience in working toward measurable targets or KPIs.
- Full clean driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
- Degree in Social Care, Business, or a related field is desirable.
