Car Panel Beater / Vehicle Body Repairer - Fully Qualified or 3rd/4th Year

Belturbet Car Sales, Cavan, a Family run business with over 50 years’ experience are a certified Bodyshop, Car Service & Repair Centre are currently looking for a fully qualified OR 3rd - 4th Year Panel Beater / Vehicle Body Repairer to join our team.

Candidates must have a keen eye for detail and be able to complete tasks to a high standard with minimal supervision.

Full time position, with immediate start.

Responsibilities:

• Working with a variety of specialised hand and power tools.
• Application of primers such as etch primer, filler primer and surface primers.
• Spray painting and preparing new or repaired panels as per manufacturer’s instructions.
• Paint finishing and polishing as per manufacturer’s instructions.
• Demonstrate good work practices including time keeping, tidiness, responsibility, quality awareness and safety awareness.
• Restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition by removing dents, mending parts, removing rust, repairing scratches, and spray-painting panels.
• Ensuring compliance to industry specifications and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience required in car body repair environment.
• Full valid Driver’s Licence.
• Good Knowledge of automotive industry safety specifications and regulations.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail is fundamental to ensure quality is consistently delivered.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
