Job Brief

The Caretaker General Operative will assist the Facilities Department in maintaining a clean, safe and well-functioning environment across Western Care Association’s premises. The role includes general operational support duties, ensuring buildings are maintained to high standards in line with health & safety and regulatory requirements providing a functional environment for staff, people supported and visitors.

Salary Scales

Pay Scale Range €29,637 to €36,690 per annum

- this is based on full time working hours i.e.39 hours per week

Mandatory Requirements

  • Full driver’s license is essential.
  • All applicants will be subject to Irish Garda Vetting and Reference checks.
  • Applicants from countries outside the E.U. must provide relevant work authorization to take up employment in the Republic of Ireland. This documentation must be submitted with the application.
  • Applicants who have lived outside of the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland for more than six months since the age of 18 will be required to provide Overseas Police Clearance.
