Complementary Therapy Coordinator

Main purpose of the job: The Complementary Therapy Coordinator will be required to coordinate, develop and evaluate our complementary therapy service provision within Bridge of Hope in association with relevant colleagues.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
To coordinate and develop Complementary Therapy services for Ashton’s Bridge of Hope project to ensure good governance and meet client need.
To oversee the day to day management and supervision of the sessional team of complementary therapists.
To maintain safe, professional and welcoming environments for Complementary Therapy service provision with an eye to health and safety.
To keep all relevant policies and procedures up to date, in line with legislation, best practice and professional standards.
To maintain all electronic and paper data systems in compliance with funder and organisational requirements.
Completion and sign off of all service related data both electronic and paper e.g. (triage, sessional notes, file closures & evaluations)
To manage referrals for complementary therapies ensuring suitability for service, including triage and onward referral where appropriate.
To enhance and encourage skill development training for the complementary therapy team.
Coordinate and oversee all relevant Complementary Therapy team meetings.
To maintain a current membership with the Federation of Holistic Therapists.
To deliver required complementary therapy sessions (including massage and reflexology) to meet organisational needs.
To oversee stock levels and safe storage of complementary therapy resources.
To maintain internal systems for quality assurance management.
Flexibility to work outside of normal office hours as and when required
This post is currently funded until March 31st 2026, with a strong possibility of extension.
Ashton Community Trust offers
Starting at 25 days leave, increasing with length of service plus statutory days
An enhanced auto-enrolment pension scheme consisting of 1% employee contribution and 7% employer contribution.
