Digital Archivist, FTE, Specific Purpose Contract

Applications are invited for an appointment as Digital Archivist Specific purpose contract at NUI Galway. 

The Digital Archivist has responsibility for the creation of digitised archives through the digitisation of archival material and the ingest of born-digital material; the description of those digital archives to facilitate discovery; the publication of this content to our digital repository and other systems; the promotion and preservation of archival or other digital material.

Salary:

Assistant Librarian 2 €43,544 to €53,790 p.a.

(applicable to new entrants effective from January, 2011)

(This appointment will be made on the Assistant Librarian scale in line with current Government pay policy)
