Location of Post:

There is currently 0.5 wte (Part Time) permanent position available within an agreed current location in the HSE Dublin and Midlands region.

A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Clinical Nurse Manager 2 -Student Allocations Liaison Officer from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

Eligibility Criteria

1.Statutory Registration Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc

(a)Candidates for appointment must:

(i) Are Registered in the relevant division of the Register of Nurse & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland NMBI (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais nan Éireann) or entitled to be so registered

AND

(ii) Have at least 5 years post registration experience (or an aggregate of 5 years fulltime post registration experience) of which 2 years must be in a practice learning environment.

AND

(iii) Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.

AND

(iv) Candidates must demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development.

AND

(b) Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability including a high standard of suitability and clinical, professional and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.

Annual Registration

(ii) Practitioners must maintain live annual registration on the appropriate/relevant Division of the register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI] (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann) for the role.

AND

(ii) Confirm annual registration with NMBI to the HSE by way of the annual Patient Safety Assurance Certificate (PSAC).

Health

A candidate for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.

Character

Each candidate for and any person holding the office must be of good character

Post Specifics:

  • Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in a clinical learning environment appropriate to undergraduate nursing students and registered nurses as relevant to the role.
  • Demonstrate a high level of ICT skills e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
