The posts are located in 2 vacancies in Westmeath and 1 in Laois .

A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled within Dublin Midlands.

Details of Service

There are currently a number of community based residential homes for Adults with varying degrees of Intellectual Disability, complex needs and behaviours of concern. The Service comprises of residential houses/designated centres, behaviour support team and Supported living. The residential houses are managed locally by the Clinical Nurse Manager 2. The Clinical Nurse Manager 2 is the Person in Charge of registered designated centres and is responsible for the Operational management of the centre on a daily basis.

Service provision is underpinned by the HSE’s commitment to providing a quality service delivered locally and responsive to individual need.

The service provides evidenced based care through the promotion of Nursing grades to embark on future educational opportunities. The service supports staff development and promotional opportunities.

The service is underpinned by person centred values, encouraging a collaborative, inclusive and participatory approach.
