The role:

This role requires a combination of strategic, commercial and people management skills across key segments within the company and includes several areas of responsibility. The role holder will ensure the operational delivery of Digital Sales Missions and projects in specific regions by closely managing the relationship with key stakeholders and the Vodafone Ireland OpCo to ensure sufficient markets, data and offers are available to meet revenue and SOV commitments. You will be responsible for leading a team of 5-8 Sales Managers & approx. 50-80 Sales heads, delivering 20-40M New Business sales & Renewals. Additionally, you will have ownership of the ongoing development of the Sales plan, forecasting areas of over/under performance and continuing to drive sales and design sales course correction as appropriate. This requires close monitoring of the general commercial and sales performance of all teams, as well as the ability to create new strategies that will drive commercial improvement.

You will be;

  • Continued focus on the growth of the hub & recruitment of a world-class team in partnership with HR.

  • Manage KPIs & work with demand generation Sales Missions to ensure that deliverables are exceeded & internal customers are delighted by Vodafone Performance & Partnership.

  • Develop, coach & manage Digital Sales to ensure operational excellence.

  • Create an environment where building broad & complex customer relationships is second nature.

  • Ensure the successful on-boarding of new Sales missions, utilising VBDS SME Way of Selling theory & process.

  • Define & ensure the personal development of the entire Digital Sales Team.

  • Provide timely & relevant Sales performance reports to key stakeholders.

  • Work with Vodafone Leadership to remove barriers to productivity & success.

  • Train & develop Team Leaders & Team Managers to the next level with the Regional Lead.

  • Experience of Inside Sales team management in a lead generation & sophisticated Sales environment for a B2B service organisation (ideally direct Vodafone experience).

  • Polished B2B Sales Manager with excellent communication & motivation skills.

    Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Languages other than English beneficial but not essential.
