Your Role: 

The Senior Manager of the Recovery and Resolution Planning team will lead and manage a team dedicated to ensuring the implementation and delivery of best practice in PTSB¿s Recovery and Resolution Planning requirements.

The Senior Manager will lead the management of PTSB¿s Regulatory Engagement with regard to Recovery and Resolution Planning activities.

The Senior Manager will lead a team of subject matter experts and will establish, maintain and develop new and existing relationships with the Supervisory and Resolution Planning Team within the Central Bank of Ireland and their European counterparts in the SRB.

Your Team:

Reporting to the Head of Financial Performance, this role will be key in driving the future shape and contribution of the Financial Performance function within Finance and the wider Bank. This role involves engagement with CFO and other Executive Committee members as well as external stakeholders including counterparts in the Central Bank of Ireland. The role will lead and coach a team of c. 3 finance professionals.

Your Responsibilities:

Functional Strategy & Delivery

• Lead the delivery the Bank¿s Annual Recovery and Resolution Planning deliverables co-ordinating input from a wide range of stakeholders across the Bank
• Establish & maintain relationship with counterparts in the Central Bank of Ireland Supervisory and Resolution Authority Teams and with the Banks SRB counterparts

Risk Management & Control

• Attend and contribute toward the Financial Performance Risk and Control Forum and Compliance Forum
• Manage the control environment for processes in this function, embedding a robust control framework, review and reconciliation process

Lead an inspiring Culture

• Ensure that the team is communicated to effectively, understand the vision and their role in achieving it, and are fully motivated to contribute effectively on delivering the vision
• Provide leadership with relentless focus on expectations of `What¿ and `How' of performance

Stakeholder Engagement

• The Senior Manager will establish, maintain and develop new and existing relationships with the Supervisory and Resolution Planning Teams within the Central Bank of Ireland.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Bank, particularly in Finance, Credit and Risk to understand accounting and regulatory issues

Requirements: 

Essential

• Has led and managed large teams of professionally qualified and skilled staff to high standards of quality, effectiveness, and efficiency
• Has managed relationships with external stakeholders in previous roles.
• Previous Banking experience with an established understanding of Recovery and Resolution Planning
• Good understanding of Balance Sheet Management, Capital in Banking, and stress testing
• Strong organisational and analytical capabilities with a good working knowledge of best practice in Recovery and Resolution Planning
