Wicklow There is currently 1.0 permanent whole-time vacancy available in St. Colman’s Residential Care Centre in Community Healthcare East (CHO6) A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Director of Nursing Band 3 from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled. Purpose of the Post: The focus of the Director of Nursing 3 role is on improving resident and service experience, quality of care and resident and service user outcomes, in the context of developing a culture of performance improvement within the allocated resources. The Director of Nursing 3 will be responsible for the delivery of a high level of effective clinical care and support to residents in a residential care setting and to manage and develop nursing education and training. The persons appointed will also be required to register with HIQA as the designated centres Person in Charge as set out in Regulation 14 of the Health Act (2007).
