Accelerate, Almac’s award winning Higher Level Apprenticeship Programme, has a strong track record in delivering apprenticeship programs in areas such as life sciences, information technology, engineering and business and customer operations. Building on the success of recent years, we are excited to launch a further initiative to recruit eight Degree Apprentices who will be enrolled on a programme of study with Ulster University Business School, funded through the Department for the Economy’s Higher Level Apprenticeship programme. This will be a 3.5 year program, combining academic and on-the-job learning across a number of core business subject areas which will lead to achievement of a BSc (Honours) Degree in Leading on Customer Operations. About us.. Almac Clinical Services designs and delivers bespoke packaging and logistical solutions for pharmaceutical companies conducting small or large clinical trials for the treatment of a range of diseases and illnesses. We ensure that a supply of clinical material is delivered across the globe to meet the needs of those patients enrolled in a trial, helping to improve patient lives daily. We are delighted to offer eightdegree apprenticeship opportunities within either the Project Management or Operations departments within Almac Clinical Services. Project Management (2 positions) In project management, our new Degree apprentices will assume project coordination roles, within one of the following teams: · Production project management · Distribution project management They will work as part of global project delivery teams, with Project Leads and Clinical Supply Managers, ensuring customer requests are met, on time and in line with the project specification. Operations (6 positions)* Our new degree apprentices will assume supervisory positions within the Secondary or Adapt Production department or within Label Control: They will work working with a team of Operators, Senior Operators or Label Controllers to ensure customer agreed timelines are achieved. (Please note after an initial training period, Operations employees will be expected to work within a bi-weekly rotational shift pattern which comprises of the following: Week 1 Monday – Friday 0730 – 1530 hours, Week 2 Monday – Friday 1530 – 2330 hours) Our commitment to you.. Successful completion of the program will leave you well positioned for further advancement within the Project Services or Operations departments or the wider Almac family. These roles will be initially offered on a fixed term basis for the duration of your study programme. After successfully completing your qualification, there will be the opportunity to gain a permanent role and have a clear route for career progression into more senior positions.
