A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Cork University Hospital from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled. Details of Service Cork University Hospital (CUH) is the largest university teaching hospital in Ireland and is the only level 1 trauma centre in the Republic of Ireland – an accreditation given because of the very wide range of specialties delivered by the hospital – It services a wide range of specialties including Neuroscience, Cardiac Service, Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Renal, Internal Medicine, Vascular, Ophthalmology, Urology, Plastic Surgery, Maxillary-Facial, Paediatrics, Intensive Care, Oncology, Haematology, Burns. Details of Service: CUH is the tertiary referral centre for the HSE Southern area, and the supra regional area of Limerick, Clare, Tipperary, Waterford and Kilkenny. CUH therefore acts as a regional centre for secondary and tertiary care for the catchments population of 550,000 served by the HSE Southern area and a supra-regional centre for a total a population of 1.1 million. CUH is part of the HSE South West Region. We are offering €19.00 to €21.00 Euro per hour based on experience. We anticipate initially that this role will not require more than 6 hours per week.
