Accounting and Finance Intern

Now, we’re looking for Accounting & Finance Interns to join our team. This role will play a key part in the overall growth of the organisation along with helping to maintain our core ethos here are Sysco – keeping the customer at the heart of everything we do. The role: Our Finance team are an integral part of the business at every level, this programme is designed to develop our future leaders by providing them with a unique environment where they will be challenged daily in order to prepare them for future business leadership roles. By joining us you will enter into a Intern Programme which promises to give you a wide breadth of experience. It is a fast-paced, exciting team that lives in real-time, where you’ll need to be ready to respond quickly to anything that might challenge our ability to deliver to customers. You will spend time across the Finance function and develop understanding of other areas of the business including Operations, Sales and Merchandising. From day one, you'll begin to gain hands-on experience, whilst also broadening your technical know-how. This programme provides unparalleled opportunities and exposure to key leadership within our business as well as a first-hand view of our Graduate Programme in action. Requirements: · An average of 2:1 or above in a relevant Accountancy or Business degree. · A solid understanding and demonstrated interest in a future career in Finance. · Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills. · Strong commercial awareness and career motivation. · Available to start in 2024 (minimum June – August 2024) · Full clean drivers’ licence and access to own transport preferred Sysco is an equal opportunities employer.
