Job Overview We are pleased to be recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant to join our friendly and supportive operations team. As a valued member of our warehouse team, you will report to the First Line Manager (FLM). This vacancy is specifically for the Reverse Logistics team, where you will be involved in receiving and processing returns from customers including warranty returns and surcharges, processing credits to customers, preparing export documentation for shipments and processing cleanses for obsolete and slow-moving stock. This will ensure customer claims are handled efficiently and in a timely manner as well as minimise risk in managing stock loss in the operations. There will be training and development available and ongoing throughout your career with LKQ Euro Car Parts. This is a full-time permanent position, working five days a week Monday through to Friday from 8am to 5pm. Key Responsibilities • Ensure all areas of the warehouse always conform to health and safety legislation • Ensure all returns entering the operations are checked, taking care to make sure that the part returned reflects what is on the collection note and that all goods are new (Exceptions to this are old core, warranty and damaged) • Ensure all stock cleanses, damaged goods and old core are returned accurately to T2 on time and in a condition to minimise the risk of stock loss to the branch • Ensure accurate filling in of shipping and customs paperwork, ensuring that all working files and records are accurate and up to date • Report all instances of missing stock to the manager in charge • Ensure all stock is handled in a way that minimises the risk of damage while in stock or during delivery • Respond to any request from branch operations within the specified time • Provide a safe working environment in the warehouse for all team members and visitors • Assist with additional duties to maintain the working environment in a clean and tidy condition • Carry out any reasonable request as directed by the operations, branch or general manager • Promote a positive image of Euro Car Parts with staff, suppliers and customers • Always maintain personal appearance and conduct in a fashion to compliment the company’s professional standing.
