About the role Kerry Dairy Ireland are looking to recruit a Customer Care & Sales Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to start their Sales career, you will undertake the Sales Apprenticeship over 2 years, covering all aspects of selling and sales. Your training will be a combination of on-the-job training and off-the-job learning via online classes and face to face workshops with the Education and Training Board. You will be released from the workplace to participate in the online classes and face-to-face workshops. You will be assigned a dedicated workplace mentor who will be there to support you throughout the program offering guidance and making sure that all aspects of your learning follows the structured training plan. This is an “earn and learn” program and upon successful completion you will qualify as a Sales Specialist and gain a QQI validated NFQ Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Sales. Holders of this award will be eligible to progress within the organisation and/or to higher education program. What will I be doing? Learn and develop organisational, manufacturing and product knowledge and category understanding. Building sales skill set. Build knowledge of commercial and financial acumen (Understanding of profit & Loss, return on investment, budgeting, pricing, promotions, credit, terms agreements.) Discover and understand other roles within Sales including brand, category, customer services and demand planning. Interacting with multiple contacts, internally and externally. What do I need to be successful in this role? H7/O6 or above in five leaving certificate (or equivalent) subjects. A minimum of grade O6 must be obtained in English. A minimum of grade O6 or a B2 or above in Foundation level must be obtained in mathematics. Holders of a QQI Level 5 or Level 6 (or equivalent) Excellent organisation skills and time management. Ability to take ownership of queries/issues, bringing them to a successful conclusion. Enthusiastic attitude to the challenge of the role with a positive can-do approach to tasks. Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision. Candidate must be able to work with others in cross-functional roles & environments. Good IT Skills.

About the role Kerry Dairy Ireland are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidates to develop a career progressing to a management position in the supply chain, operations, logistics, warehouse, process engineering, or planning department. You will gain a Third Level apprenticeship qualification, experience with on-the-job training, and the opportunity to earn while you learn. Kerry Dairy Ireland will pay your salary while you are being trained on the job and attend college off the job, and there are incremental salary increases aligned to the achievement of agreed milestones within the program. What will I be doing? Develop productive working relationships with relevant stakeholders and departments within the business – this will include Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, Despatch, Stores, Planning, and Accounts – to ensure that the output and delivery of products are as per customer specifications. Assist with the daily planning of food production, customer supply, and movement of goods throughout Ireland, the UK, and Europe. Liaise with all areas of Management across our sites and the Group to create a good working relationship. Gain a full understanding of all relevant roles and processes with Operations and Production gaining experiential on-the-job learning. Assist the Management where necessary and take on management responsibilities providing support and acting as a point of contact where appropriate. Work with Site Management to reduce costs and increase efficiency. What do I need to be successful in this role? Applicant must meet one of the LAA program entry criteria: H7/O6 or above in five leaving certificate (or equivalent) subjects. A minimum of grade O6 must be obtained in English. A minimum of grade O6 or a B2 or above in Foundation level must be obtained in mathematics. Holders of a QQI Level 5 or Level 6 (or equivalent) in cognate areas (e.g., business, logistics, and distribution, supply chain management, etc.) Excellent organisation skills and time management. Ability to take ownership of queries/issues, bringing them to a successful conclusion. Enthusiastic attitude to the challenge of the role with a positive can-do approach to tasks. Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision. Candidate must be able to work with others in cross-functional roles & environments. Good IT Skills.
