About the role Maintenance Machinist reporting to the Services Maintenance Manager. You will be responsible for the fabrication of machine parts and the modification of components to support the maintenance function. You will use your machining (turning, milling, and drilling) skills and experience to effect this. You will contribute to increasing the reliability of process and utility equipment in support of manufacturing requirements for dependability, quality, safety and environmental. The Maintenance Machinist role is a day role with rostered weekend work. You will also be required to be available for callout as part of a roster. A third level qualification in a science related discipline or lab experience is required A leaving Certificate qualification is required. Knowledge of the Quality Management Systems. Demonstrated knowledge of the product specifications, plant processes and products. Previous manufacturing experience is desirable, but not essential. An excellent understanding of Good Laboratory Practice. The successful candidate will be organised, systematic and should possess the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail. Strong analytical skills. Ability to be flexible and adaptable to respond to changing demands. Proficient in the use of MS Office tools.
