Role: Sourcing Coordinator - Supplier Support

Purpose of role: The role involves the general coordination and support for the central sourcing team.

Reports to: Sourcing Manager

The role involves supporting the sourcing team to attract, develop and integrate new suppliers and production units for new and existing product categories for Primark.

The role involves onboarding new suppliers to Primark following approval from various stakeholders. The candidate will facilitate the existing onboarding process.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate strong Excel proficiency and data analytics skills.

The role involves arranging and coordinating new Suppliers inductions to Primark.

The role involves working with our Regional Sourcing Offices to develop and integrate new factories with existing suppliers to support Primark capacity growth.

The role involves the organisation and scheduling of supplier meetings, workshops, conferences as required

The successful candidate needs to manage multiple issues, engage multiple stakeholders and ensure these issues are resolved efficiently.

The role involves ad hoc support for any supplier related queries that may arise and impact Buying, Ethical, Supply Chain, Customs and Finance teams.

The role involves travel coordination, meeting schedules, passport/visas, presentations, preparation as required.

The role will require attending individual supplier meetings in ARH/Reading House as required.

The successful candidate needs to build & maintain relationships with the Buying, Sourcing Teams and Suppliers.

Knowledge & Personal skills:

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

An ability to work under pressure

Role:Buying Administrator

Purpose of role:

To support Buying teams on purchase order creation and stock transfers

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately enter data into corresponding fields within various software programs

Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors

Communicating with the B&M Support team/Buying teams to clear up any missing information or inconsistencies

Diligently follow purchase orders through to completion.

Maintaining a superior level of accuracy, consistency & work quality

Provide general data entry support across many teams on an ad-hoc basis

Efficient management of weekly workload and priorities.

Provide a daily review of completed and outstanding workload to team lead

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

Experience in a busy office environment

IT literate and proficient in MS office,

Strong working knowledge of Excel

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Flexible approach to work in order to meet tight deadlines.

Accurate with good attention to detail.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.
