Accommodation & Welfare Officer

Gen R is seeking a compassionate and organised Accommodation & Welfare Officer to join our team at our Accommodation Centre in Limerick. This role supports residents in day-to-day living, promotes wellbeing, and ensures the centre is safe, clean, and welcoming.

Responsibilities:

• Build positive relationships with residents and provide welfare support.
• Monitor wellbeing and escalate concerns where needed.
• Support house rules and assist with conflict resolution.
• Oversee room turnovers and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Organise and distribute essential supplies.

Requirements:

• QQI Level 5 in Social Care or related field.
• Experience in social care, refugee support, or similar role desirable.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Garda vetting and pre-employment medical required.

12-hour shifts, no overnights.
