Accountant

James Deasy & Co is looking to hire an Accountant with an immediate start on a contract or a permanent position.

 Duties & Responsibilities:

• Preparation of self employed accounts and company financial statements
• Filing of Company Annual Returns
• Submission of Income Tax
• Returns and Corporation Tax Returns
• Assist in maintaining and developing client relationships
• Ensure completion of assignments within appropriate budget and time frames
• Managing and planning audit exempt and project assignments
• Managing a portfolio of clients and the provision of business advisory support clients
• Working with existing clients to develop new business opportunities
• Identifying and promote additional services and supports to clients
• Working to deadlines and other KPI essential for the efficient functioning and growth of the practice
• Liaising with Management and staff on co-ordination and alignment of work flow strategy
• Liaising and coordinating with internal staff members and providing them with support, guidance and training

Requirements:

• Experience with Sage
• Accounts Production
• Proficient with Excel
• Strong technical knowledge
• Capable of working on your own initiative
