Accountant

THE ROLE

• Preparation and completion of annual financial statements and accounts files for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Preparing and submitting income tax returns on behalf of sole traders
• Preparing and submitting corporation tax returns for limited companies
• Preparing and submitting annual returns and abridged accounts to meet CRO deadlines
• Reviewing of VAT, PAYE and RCT returns
• Dealing with banking issues and all other regulatory obligations associated with each individual business
• Managing and liaising with a portfolio of established clients on existing and new business.
• Other ad hoc duties

Skills/Experience

• 2 years experience in an accountancy practice
• Knowledge of Relate/Bright accounts software & Sage Accounts Production preferable
• Full time/Part time negotiable
