Accountant

The Accountant will work under the direction and guidance of the Financial Accountant to ensure the provision of an efficient and effective service within the Finance Department.

The post holder will:

• Lead the day to day operations of the Financial Services Team within the Finance Department;
• Have primary responsibility for ensuring systems and procedures are in place to maintain data quality;
• Provide advice and guidance on the main regulatory and technical aspects of the Financial Accounting function, overseeing financial returns required by the College and ensuring their accuracy and validity to meet the needs of the College and its regulatory bodies.
