Accounts Administrator

ABP Food Group is currently recruiting for the role of an Accounts Administrator to join our busy finance team. The successful candidate will be based in Rathkeale, Co Limerick.
Applicant
The successful candidate will have previous experience as an account’s administrator; have the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline orientated environment; be proficient with MS office – particularly Excel; have good communication and interpersonal skills; the candidate should have excellent organisational skills and discipline to meet specific target deadlines
Responsibilities and duties:
The successful candidate will be working as part of the finance team reporting to the Financial Controller. Duties include but are not limited to:
· Daily production reporting to management
· Daily processing of invoices.
· Preparing customs papers-knowledge of customs regulations would be desirable
· Stock reconciliations including stock verification
· Processing, maintaining, and analysing data used for financial reports
· Reconciliation of bank accounts in Eur. and Stg.
· Participating in financial month end and year end reporting as part of a team
· Preparation and posting of monthly journals
· Balance sheet reconciliations
· Assisting in the preparations of annual budgets
· Liaise with internal and external auditors
· To provide any ad hoc reporting information as requested in a timely manner
· Holiday cover for other finance roles including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
· To provide cover/support for other administrative roles in the team
Skills and Qualifications:
· Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong computer skills including a good working knowledge of Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills & ability to multitask.
- Excellent team player, who is comfortable working independently.
