Job Title: Accounts Assistant
The Role The Maryborough Hotel is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to become an integral part of our accounts department. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Financial Controller, contributing significantly to the team’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee Accounts Payable, manage Bank and Cash transactions, and maintain stock modules.
· Support various project work related to the department’s activities.
· Gain an in-depth understanding of daily hotel operations to ensure smooth financial processes.
Requirements:
· Minimum of 2 years of experience within an accounts team.
· Experience in the service industry is highly desirable.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· A positive, team-oriented attitude with a proactive approach to tasks.
· Effective time management skills.
· Availability for part-time work (25-30 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
