Location: Gort, Co. Galway (Hybrid – 1 day/week in office)
Status: Full-time

We’re looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support our finance operations and ensure timely, accurate payments to our global supplier network. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work that supports life-improving technologies.

What You’ll Do:

• Process supplier invoices and check requests in compliance with our Procure-to-Pay (P2P) policies

• Resolve discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders, and receipts by collaborating with internal teams and vendors

• Prepare and process batch payments and bank transfers

• Research and respond to internal and external inquiries regarding supplier account status and payment issues

• Reconcile supplier statements and ensure alignment with internal records

• Support month-end close activities, including accrual reporting and invoice tracking

• Maintain accurate records in line with the company’s document retention policy

• Follow quality system procedures that impact the integrity of our financial operations

• Contribute to the Shared Services team and take on additional duties as needed

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of accounts payable or corporate finance experience (multi-national experience preferred)

• Familiarity with corporate procurement and payment processes

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Experience with Oracle EBS and other accounting software is a plus

• High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality

• Strong communication skills—both written and verbal

• Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a team environment

• Accounting qualifications such as Accounting Technician or partially qualified accountant a plus

• Flexibility to work overtime during financial close periods

Languages: 

• French, German or Italian would be advantageous
