Principle Objective

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Administration function providing efficient and accurate administrative support to the Branch Manager.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Excellent written and numerical skills
  • Excellent IT literacy with an ability to efficiently learn new systems
  • 2 years previous administration experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Health and Safety compliance experience

Key Responsibilities

  • General office administration duties filling / scanning etc.
  • Supporting counter sales as required
  • Assist the cash office when needed
  • Health & Safety Awareness - ensure that Company Health & Safety Regulations are strictly adhered to
  • Building customer relationships
  • Maintain a high customer service standard ensuring all customers are dealt with in an efficient and effective manner
  • Take responsibility, as requested, for the development and implementation of the strategic and business plan, involving regular consultation with Senior Management
  • Responsible for the re-order of selected product lines and also ensuring that stock levels of selected product lines are maintained at optimum levels
  • Ensure shop floor is continuously maintained to agreed standard and promotions delivered to high standards
  • Ability to manage and anticipate change
  • Ensure a tidy working environment at all times in line with health and safety guidelines
  • Actively safeguard against theft of company goods or property by being security conscious at all times
  • Ensure all company policies are implemented accordingly
  • Maintain People XD – absence management/ annual leave
  • Oversee management of Aged Stock
  • Ensure training matrix record is kept up to date
  • Assist Branch Manager with margin reviews
  • Work closely with Branch Manager and Sales Representative to review and maintain customer accounts
  • Effective team working and networking skills
  • Commercial awareness and numeracy skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skill
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • IT literacy and the ability to handle analytical data

Contract Type

  • Permanent full time
  • Full time 40-hour contract
  • Working week Monday to Friday, may be required to take part in the Saturday roster
  • Location: Davies 150 Harmonstown Road Raheny, Dublin 5
