Administration Assistant

Job summary

ROLE

We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to support the efficient running of our prescription delivery service. This role will be responsible for handling administrative tasks, managing payments, and ensuring seamless coordination between the pharmacy, delivery drivers, and patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role (experience in healthcare or pharmacy administration is an advantage).
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn pharmacy systems.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • GCSE (or equivalent qualification) Maths and English – Grades A-C 
  • Eligible to work in the UK ( Proof Requested).

Desirable Criteria

  • Knowledge of prescription processes or experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Experience handling payments and basic financial administration.

Hours of Work

20 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 1pm.

Please note this is a fixed term contract for 6 months.
