Administration Clinical Engineering
17.5 hours per week in the clinical engineering department.· Have passed an examination at the appropriate level within the QQI qualifications framework which can be assessed as being comparable to Leaving Certificate standard or equivalent or higher, i.e. FETAC Level 5.
· A qualification or experience in the use of MS Office packages, e.g. ECDL.
· Experience in using computer based systems.
· Experience in dealing with the general public
· At least 1 year’s administration experience of working in a hospital/healthcare environment.· Coordinate servicing schedules between vendors, clinical areas, and the Clinical Engineering Department
· Manage vendor communications, follow-ups, and service documentation
· Create, track, and update maintenance work orders
· Support preventative maintenance scheduling and reporting
· Maintain accurate equipment, asset, and service records within the asset management system AIMS
· Track equipment, spare parts, and external repair logistics
· Monitor and maintain inventory and stock levels for clinical engineering parts and supplies
· Assist with purchasing processes, invoice tracking, and delivery reconciliation
