Reporting to: Accommodation Development Manager
Closing Date: Wednesday, 28th October at 12 noon (Ireland Time)
To contribute to the operation and administration of the Accommodation Capacity Development team.
Primary Objectives/Key Responsibilities
Support the Accommodation Capacity Development team in these areas:
Implementation and development of new and existing tourism accommodation registration and standards systems, processes & policies
Implementation and integration of the Accommodation Capacity Development team¿s requirements on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM), including the associated design, development, and user acceptance testing (UAT) work
Ensure administration relating to accommodation registration and standards case work is updated to ensure that the National Quality Assurance Framework is upheld
Support the activity of the assessment team in ensuring the Tourist Traffic Acts 1939-2016 are implemented and recorded
Monitoring and updating of the Fáilte Ireland Registers of accommodation
Input into the annual registration renewal process
Support the management of external service providers
Contributing, updating, and recording activity relating to the COVID-19 Safety Charter and operational guidelines
¿General administrative duties e.g. responding to queries, e-mail enquiries, and updating of documents
Ongoing updating of the quality assurance pages of the Fáilte Ireland suite of websites
Competently use and generate all relevant reports through all appropriate systems e.g. CRM
Support and deliver the collection and maintenance of records of the Unit¿s activity, with a particular emphasis on ensuring all activity is captured accurately and in a timely fashion on the CRM system.
Update all business plans and project dashboards, detailed and high-level plans, resource plans, reports as required Provide updates and reports to internal business units on accommodation registration and standards specific queries
Generate regular status reports for review by Head of Division / Director / Manager
Compile presentations for Head of Division / Director / Manager
Implement finance related processes on the Fáilte Ireland finance system
A willingness to assist cross divisionally as appropriate
Carry out all other duties as required and participate as a full member of the Accommodation Capacity Development Team by supporting different work projects, as required, from time to time.
The successful candidate will have the following essential skills and criteria:
Strong office management and administration skills
Evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Evidence of strong organisational and time management/planning skills and the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
Meticulous attention to detail when preparing documents
In order to be eligible to apply for this role you must have / demonstrate in your application form the following:
A minimum of 2 years¿ experience in an administrative support role which utilised strong office management and administration skills
Experience in working in project based activities
Experience in using databases and finance system would be beneficial
Experience in the tourism sector is not essential but would be an advantage
Previous experience in working with stakeholders would be beneficial

Business Communication (written and verbal) skills
