The Position
We are currently seeking a capable and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to support the Head of Consulting and a Consulting Partner in a dynamic and fast-paced professional services environment. This is a permanent opportunity offering excellent potential for growth and development within a collaborative and high-performing team.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Personal Assistants, working closely with them to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and consistent support to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- General Administration: Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Consulting team, including managing queries, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.
- Document Preparation & Management: Draft, format, and maintain documents; ensure accurate filing and version control
- Data Entry & Record Keeping: Maintain internal systems and databases, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Scheduling & Calendar Support: Assist with scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating internal and external appointments.
- Travel & Logistics: Organise travel arrangements and prepare itineraries for team members.
- Expense & Billing Support: Help process expenses and assist with basic billing administration tasks.
- Onboarding Support: Support onboarding processes for new team members.
- Compliance & Due Diligence: Support client onboarding processes and assist with compliance checks (training provided).
- Event Coordination: Assist in planning team events and social activities.
- Tender & Proposal Support: Help maintain tender documentation and assist with preparing proposals and presentations.
- General Administration: Handle gifts, queries, meeting coordination, and team support.
- Social Events: Help coordinate team social activities.
Ideal Candidate
· 1–2 years’ experience in an administrative role, ideally within a professional services or consultancy environment.
· Strong organisational and time management skills.
· Willingness to learn and take initiative.
· Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
· High level of discretion and professionalism.
· Attention to detail and accuracy.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
· Comfortable working with basic financial data.
· Familiarity with eTenders, AML processes, and client onboarding is a plus but not essential.
· Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a hybrid environment.
· A collaborative mindset and openness to feedback from team members
