HX26-076 Administrative Assistant (Grade III Clerical Officer) Occupational Health/Social Work

  • 1.0WTE (35 hours per week)
  • Indefinite duration contract H.S.E. funded
  • Based in Harold's Cross

The Grade III Clerical Officer will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to designated services within Harold's Cross Hospice, including Occupational Health, Social Work, Bereavement Services. The post holder will contribute to the efficient day-to-day operation of services, ensuring a professional, confidential and patient-centred administrative support function.

Essential Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience experience within the last five years.
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and database systems.
  • Excellent typing, organisational and administrative skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively within a busy environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Requirements

Experience:

  • Previous experience within healthcare, hospice, social care or Occupational Health services.
  • Experience arranging appointments and maintaining service databases.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and records management requirements.
  • Experience supporting multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
