Permanent, Full-time
Salary will be in the range £26,449 - £28,049 per annum

Purpose of the role
The post-holder will support the Human Resources team in delivering an efficient, high‑quality HR service by providing comprehensive administrative assistance across the employee lifecycle. Key duties include coordinating recruitment and selection processes, maintaining accurate employee records through timely data entry and documentation updates, and assisting with ongoing HR activities such as probation, performance management, and contract changes.
By the closing date for applications, candidates must demonstrate that they fulfil each of the following Essential Criteria:
1. A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, including English Language and Mathematics.
2. At least 2 years’ work experience, including 1 year providing HR-related administrative support (e.g. recruitment administration, absence recording supporting HR processes).
3. Proven experience using MS Office applications (including Word, Excel and Outlook) to produce documents, manage data, and communicate effectively.
4. Proven experience handling confidential and sensitive information in line with data protection requirements and organisational policies.
5. Proven experience using a computerised HR or personnel information system (e.g. data entry, running reports, updating employee records).
Desirable Criteria
1. Current Associate (or above) membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD).
2. A recognised HR-related qualification (e.g. CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice or equivalent).
3. Experience working in an HR department within a community, voluntary or public‑sector environment.
