Main Purpose of Post/Job:
To service AONB and Geo Park partnership and working groups meetings. To provide secretarial, administrative and financial suppor to the management of the AONB and Geo Park initiatives in the delivery against funded programmes and action plans, which contrivute toward the achievement of corporate and AONB targets and objectives. To be responsible for the handling, storage and maintenance of office equipment. To provide an information service and ensure a high level of customer service is provided at all times.
Duration of Appointment: Permanent
Salary: Scale 5, spinal point 14-19, £29,540 - £32,061 per annum based on a 36 hour week (pro rata to hours worked). Plus 19% employer pension contribution. It is Council policy to appoint at minimum salary scale point. Pay frequency is monthly by BACS (Bank Automated Clearing System) in arrears on the third last banking day of the month. 
Hours of Work: 28 hours Monday - Thursday
Work Pattern: 28hrs Monday – Thursday This post is eligible to participate in the Flexi Scheme. Post holders must be prepared to work outside normal office hours, including evenings, weekends, and Public and extra Statutory Holidays for which the appropriate payment will be made or time in lieu granted if relevant. Hours of work are kept under review and may change in order to meet operational requirements, providing requisite notice.
