About the role:

We’re supporting our clients as they adapt to a new world in the wake of COVID-19. We’re now recruiting for roles which will help our clients to deliver vital services and to resume business wherever possible.

Working within the Accounts Receivable/Banking team. Completing weekly banking uploads to a client system and carrying out reconciliations to ensure the bank accounts are all reconciled. Assist with and resolve any queries relating to outstanding items on the bank. Dealing with incoming payments and posting these to Accounts Receivable customer accounts. Working to tight deadlines. Looking for a good team player, with good communication skills and a positive attitude.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Reconciliation of bank statements on a weekly basis
  • Identify bank receipts and ensure posted in a timely manner
  • Report on any discrepancies identified during bank rec process
  • Assist with the identification of unidentified payments
  • Assist with the handling of cheques received and prepare daily lodgements for bank
  • Identify and post AR receipts from bank to customer accounts
  • Daily reconciliation of bank and payments received
  • Liaise with AR Team on a daily basis to assist in posting payments (EFT, Credit cards etc)

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous banking and treasury experience preferred
  • Team player with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Self motivated with good organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills (time management)
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook
