NWCare is a domiciliary care agency with over 50 years experience in healthcare and one of the leading providers in Northern Ireland.

We are now recruiting an administrator for our Belfast branch. The role contains an element of human resources and the successful applicant will report to the Human Resources Manager.

  • To provide HR administrative support to a well-established Domiciliary Care Provider
  • This will involve assistance particularly to the HR Manager and the care coordination staff within the office
  • Assisting the HR Manager with general day-to-day tasks including the preparation of letters, and ensuring all communication with care staff is undertaken effectively and efficiently
  • Assisting with HR duties including recruitment administration, processing of application forms, equal opportunities monitoring, setting up interviews, issuing references, collating all the necessary paperwork in connection with new staff. Updating training records and updating of all necessary HR correspondence, logging employee details on the Human Resources IT system, organisation development, maintaining employee data in line with legislation, conducting regular internal audits, Issuing all new start documentation
  • Liaising with the Training Facilitator to organise induction training
  • The post holder must be flexible and be prepared to work in a varied, busy role. There may be the requirement, from time to time, to work outside of normal office hours
  • Ensure all information of confidential nature is not divulged to third parties
  • Work within GDPR legislation

SKILLS:

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to deal with others effectively
  • Ability to plan and organise work
  • Capable of working as part of a team but also working on own initiative
  • Good working knowledge of IT and telephone systems
  • Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed
  • Knowledge of correct grammar, spelling and punctuation
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures
ESSENTIAL
  • GCSE English and Maths or the equivalent
  • Good interpersonal, listening and communication skills
  • Diary management
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications such as MS Office
  • Right to work in UK
DESIRABLE
  • CIPD Level 3
  • ECDL

Salary/Package:

£12.00 per hour
