We are currently seeking highly-motivated Adult Day Services Manager (CNM2) to join our team in Enable Ireland Adult Services, West Limerick (Newcastlewest/Rathkeale)
Contract Type: Full Time Permanent Contract
Contract Hours: 37.5 Hours per week
SalaryScale: €58,245 to €69,260 Pro rata per annum, Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments)
This pay scale is subject to increases in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations
Annual Leave Entitlement: 34 Days pro rata per annum
Overview of the Post:
The Adult Day Services Manager with Nursing Duties will be responsible for the development, management, and delivery of a range of adult day services, existing and planned in the assigned region. This includes responsibility for the management of staffing, budgets, and the provision of the highest standards of care and support to the adults using the services. This will consist of planning, developing, managing, and reviewing services in line with the identified needs in the area and aligned to Enable Ireland’s Strategic Plan and model of service delivery.
The Adult Day Services Manager with Nursing Duties will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and the implementation of Enable Ireland policies and procedures, ensuring that services are person-centred and in line with best practice ensuring a high standard of clinical care is maintained.
The Adult Day Services Manager with Nursing Duties will line manage and provide support and supervision and ensure appropriate training is delivered to the staff team across the service locations assigned.

The successful candidate will have:
Essential Criteria:
Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition:
- Must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) as a Registered Nurse
AND
- Are registered in a division by the register of nurses in which the application is being made
OR
- In exceptional circumstances, which will be assessed on a case-by-case basis registered in another division of the register of Nurses
AND
- Hold a recognised validated University Degree or an equivalent qualification in Nursing
AND
- Have a recognised management qualification.
- Have a minimum of 5 years post qualification full-time experience
AND
- ·Have a minimum of 3 years working at a senior level, or in a supervisory capacity
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with Children/Adults with disabilities, (physical disability, autism, learning disability) and their families
- Have experience leading and managing teams and resource management
- Be able to demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development
- Have a full driver’s licence
- Must have a right to work in the country
Annual Registration
On appointment, practitioners must maintain live registration on the appropriate/relevant division of the register of nurses maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) for the role.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in delivering training
- Experience of working in the health/social care or not for profit sector
