Afternoon Childcare Practitioner: FETAC/QQI level 5 or higher major award in Early Childhood Education.

Location: Anchor Childcare Centre, Racecourse Shopping Centre, Grange Road, Baldoyle, D13.

Our service has ample parking and is close to the H1, H2 and 102 bus routes and 5 minutes from Bayside Dart.

Requirements:

• Must be reliable, competent and be prepared to work flexibly in the service.
• Must be resourceful, creative and take a lead role in the delivery of developmentally appropriate stimulating fun activities ensuring children’s interest is maintained.
• Must demonstrate excellent communication skills including written and spoken English as communication and record-keeping are essential to the role.
• Must supply suitable references and be in a position to obtain Garda Vetting. If you have lived outside Ireland for 6 months or more you must provide a clean Police Clearance Certificate from that country.
• Candidates should be available for a face to face interview during our hours of operation and in a position to provide required police clearance certificate and vetting documentation and references at interview.

This position is supported by the Community Services Programme so candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for the Programme (currently on a TUS, CE/JI scheme or in receipt of certain payments from the Department of Social Protection.
