With over 25 years of experience in childcare, Kids Inc. is one of Ireland's leading providers of Early Years and Afterschool Care. We operate over 70 onsite Breakfast and Afterschool programmes nationwide, alongside our Creche and Preschool services.
We are currently recruiting a Part-Time Term-Time Deputy Manager to join one of our Afterschool services in Greystones, Co. Wicklow for the 2026/2027 school term.

About the Role
Our Afterschool programme provides a safe, welcoming, and engaging home-from-home environment where children can relax, complete their homework, and take part in a wide range of fun and enriching activities at the end of the school day.
As a Deputy Manager, you will support the Centre Manager with the day-to-day running of the service while helping to lead, motivate, and develop the team. You'll play an important role in ensuring children receive the highest standard of care in a positive, inclusive, and well-organised environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the Centre Manager with the day-to-day operation of the Afterschool service, including administration and record keeping
- Assisting with planning weekly programmes and activities in line with company guidelines
- Helping to lead, support, and motivate team members to deliver a high-quality service
- Delegating tasks and ensuring staff are informed of daily and weekly plans
- Supporting children's social, emotional, physical, and creative development
- Building positive relationships with children, families, school staff, and colleagues
- Ensuring company policies, procedures, and safeguarding standards are followed
- Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all children
- Acting as the lead in the Centre Manager's absence
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 1 year's professional experience working with children
- Previous supervisory, senior, or leadership experience in a childcare, educational, or related setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience supporting, mentoring, or guiding team members
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A relevant childcare or teaching qualification is desirable
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Willingness to complete Garda Vetting and reference checks
