Afterschool Kitchen Assistant

We are Kids Inc. We provide Early Years and Afterschool Care services. With an experience of more than 25 years in the childcare industry, we're one of the most established organizations operating geographically all over Ireland. Our goal is to extend children’s daily learning by involving them in a wide range of sports and creative programs, with a strict ‘No Screen Time’ policy. With 4 Creches and Preschool services in Dublin, Kids Inc is also hosting over 60 'Onsite" Breakfast and Afterschool Care programs throughout the country.

We are looking for kind, enthusiastic, and dedicated individuals who are passionate about working with children to join our team. We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time term-time Kitchen Assistant in Greystones ETNS to join our busy Afterschool & Holiday service. This is a Monday to Friday job, from 13:30 to 17:30

The Role:

• Reheating or prepared meals for Afterschool attendees in a sanitary and timely manner
• Prepare fresh snacks in line with our healthy eating policy
• Coordinating with the Afterschool Manager and Supervisor to develop the coming week's snack's menu.
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
• Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards
• Completion of HACCP Paperwork
• Awareness of the different dietary requirements and allergies that children in our service may have

Your profile:

• At least 1-2 years of experience working as Kitchen Assistant
• Garda vetting and reference checks required to be conducted for child safety.
• Fluent English speaker.
• Valid driver’s license (preferred but not required).
