AI Engineer

Covernet are seeking AI Engineers for a new AI Centre of Excellence which will develop cutting-edge AI solutions for global insurance clients.

Life as a Covernet AI Engineer…
As an AI Engineer at Covernet you will have a key role in developing AI solutions and helping to define the technical direction of our new AI Centre of Excellence.
That includes:

• Work closely with business and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into AI driven solutions
• Design, develop and maintain LLMs and AI Agents in MS Azure Foundry
• Integrate AI solutions with existing enterprise platforms
• Measure, refine and improve LLM performance, scalability and security
• Adherence to in-house and best practices on quality control, AI responsible use, governance and security

…you will have
You’ll be educated to at least higher level in Computing or a related discipline and have a 2:1 award or equivalent. You’ll also have:

• At least 3 years’ experience as a Software Developer including API development
• At least 1 years’ experience designing and building LLMs in MS Azure Foundry

We’d also be interested to hear about any other relevant work experience too, especially in financial services, and in particular insurance. And if you have any relevant AI qualifications such as MS Azure AI Fundamentals or MS Azure AI Engineer Associate.
