The Role

Working as part of the Pharma Services Business Unit, the post holder’s objective to provide technical leadership and coaching for Senior Analysts, Analysts and Technicians and ensure the timely release of starting materials, intermediates and finished products.

The post holder will execute, delegate and monitor the progress of work on a daily basis to ensure timelines are met and to communicate progress to internal and external clients.

Contract

2 x Positions available:

• 9-12 Months Fixed Term (40.25 Hours Per Week - Continental shift pattern 7-7)
• Permanent (37.5 Hours Per Week - Mon-Fri)

Essential Criteria

• BSc (or equivalent) in Chemistry or a Life Science subject with a significant chemistry component
• Experience of supervising and managing cGMP laboratory activities and staff
• Significant experience of analysing Pharmaceutical drug products in a GMP environment
• Significant experience of :
• HPLC Analysis
• Dissolution Testing
• Stability study design and testing

Desirable Criteria

(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exist)

• MSc/PhD (or equivalent) in a Chemistry or Life Science with a significant chemistry component
• Experience of using statistical data analysis techniques
