What is the Role:
The Analytics function within the Data & Analytics Centre of Excellence work with teams from across all areas of AIB group to help business leaders make more informed, data driven decisions and to provide an enterprise MI, BI & Reporting capability.
We lead and drive value from AIB’s data, leveraging a wide range of analytical tools, to deliver business benefit and inform decision making at all levels of the organisation. We support and enable a wide range of internal and external Stakeholders, and are comprised of a team with a diverse mix of skills, from Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Analysts and Reporting Analysts.
Key Accountabilities;
As part of the management team in Analytics, you will:
- Establish strong relationships with business partners and key stakeholders, to deliver business success aligned to AIB strategy
- Provide subject matter expertise to our business colleagues in how to leverage
- Manage the consistent delivery of data requests to enable the delivery of ad-hoc / regular reports, dashboards and data visualisations to internal & external stakeholders
- Provide the necessary coaching and support to junior team members on data analysis and visualisation best practices
- Support a continuous improvement culture within the organisation, where innovation and creative thinking is encouraged and developed
What You Will Bring ;
- Proven track record in Data & Analytics leadership roles
- Self-starter with ability to work on own initiative and strong attention to detail, completing tasks to a very high degree of accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proficiency in SQL, Qlik, Power BI and/or other BI tools
- Experienced people leader with responsibility for leading and motivating teams
