This is a front-of-house coffee shop position where the successful candidate will be responsible for running the front counter independently.The role includes:<ul><li>Welcoming customers and taking orders.</li><li>Preparing and serving coffee, tea and other beverages.</li><li>Operating coffee equipment and maintaining a high standard of drinks.</li><li>Communicating and coordinating with the kitchen team to ensure orders are prepared and served smoothly.</li><li>Keeping the front-of-house and coffee station clean and organised throughout the day.</li><li>Reporting any defective equipment or utensils, work or floor surface issues, and any other Health &amp; Safety concerns.</li><li>End-of-day cleaning and closing duties.</li><li>Preparing the coffee shop and work areas for the following day.
</li></ul>The Person<ul><li>EU/EEA work eligibility.</li><li>At least 1 year of previous barista or café experience.</li><li>Attention to detail in all aspects of the work.</li><li>Enthusiastic and passionate about customer service.</li><li>Self-motivated, able to work independently and use your own initiative.</li><li>Comfortable working alone and taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the front counter.</li><li>Flexible with a positive, can-do attitude.</li><li>Leads by example and lives our values.</li><li>Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.</li><li>Basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills are required to understand safety and work instructions and communicate with customers on a day-to-day basis.</li></ul>Working Hours Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm
