Location: Reen’s Garage Test Centre & Bodyshop, Rathmore, Co. Kerry

We are currently recruiting Apprentice Panel Beaters to join our team.

Candidates will require the following;·

• Have a passion for cars
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent team player
• Reliable and punctual
• Have a full clean driver's licence

The four-year apprenticeship is offered in conjunction with SOLAS and involves both on and off-the-job training. Once successfully completed, the apprentice will be awarded a QQI level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft in Vehicle Body Repairs. It is a fantastic opportunity to be mentored in our modern Accident Repair Centre alongside our highly skilled Craftspeople.

Main responsibilities of a Panel Beater include, but are not limited to:

• Stripping damaged vehicles
• Preparing vehicles for repair work
• Repairing vehicles to the highest standards
• Ensuring compliance with established Job Card procedures
• Communicating all potential issues in advance to the Manager/Supervisor.
• Ensuring compliance with safe working/operating practices
