REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

CANDIDATES

SHOULD HAVE,

• Min L7 degree, Level 8 preferable in CAD/Architectural Tech or related field

• Teaching/Assessing experience or qualifications.

• Ability to work with groups of varying skills level.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of Health and Safety relevant to the industry.

• Willing to upskill / CPD

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Teaching and mentoring learners in areas of:

• Computer Aided Draughting

• Building Technology And Design

• Computer Aided Design - 3D

• Environmental Studies

• Surveying

• Architectural Drawing And Presentation

Provide high quality instruction to the learners aligned with the validated programme objectives, minimum intended learning outcomes and indicative content, instructing learning and assessment strategies as per the programme specifications.

• Develop and ensure course materials are up to date, relevant, and aligned with industry standards.

• Create assessment material in line with Centre QA procedures.

• Raise request for purchase for the supply of course material and relevant equipment as per CMETB procurement procedures.

• Provide one-on-one mentoring to learners, offering guidance and feedback on their academic progress.

• Collaborate with relevant programme Co-ordinator to report on learner outcomes and results.

• Undertake any other duties, which may be specified, from time to time.

• Brief the Employer on learners progress and provide feedback to the steering committee

• Maintain learner records and documentation, including up-to-date attendance records and grades.

• Monitor the safety of learners, classroom and equipment according to safety guidelines.

• Identify any learning support needs of the learner and provide support where required.

• Attend scheduled meetings with relevant stakeholders.

• Attend and contribute to Examination Board meetings.

• Visit learners during placement.

• Maintain confidentiality for sensitive information.

Any other duties which may be specified from time-to-time.
