Midlands 103 - one of Ireland’s most popular local radio stations - is seeking an ambitious, results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead commercial growth across the wider Athlone region.

This is one of our strongest and fastest-growing territories, home to thriving businesses and loyal listeners. We’re looking for someone who can build on that momentum to build resilient advertising partnerships, develop creative solutions and deliver sustainable revenue.

What You’ll DoDrive Growth: 

• Deliver new and repeat business across a key commercial area, working closely with our Sales Director to shape future revenue streams.

Manage Key Clients: 

• Strengthen long-term relationships, ensuring Midlands 103 remains the trusted marketing partner for local and regional businesses.

Understand Business Needs: 

• Identify what matters most to your clients and design campaigns that genuinely move the needle.

Win New Accounts: 

• Expand our client base through proactive outreach, direct engagement, and creative B2B sales.

Bring Ideas to Life: 

• Help create stand-out promotions, engaging competitions, and digital-first campaigns that connect our audience and advertisers.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development (media experience an advantage, not a requirement)
• A strategic, professional approach to B2B selling
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Energy, initiative, and a drive to exceed targets
• A genuine interest in helping local businesses grow and succeed
